What the day will look like Provide technical leadership in a team that generates business insights, identify impactful recommendations, and communicate the findings to clients Brainstorm innovative ways to use our unique data to answer business problems Use your data science skills to develop models that, for example, predict which potential employees are most likely to succeed, identify the most effective interventions to retain high performers, ensure pay equity for all, and help companies upskill their workforce for the future Integrate data from across multiple sources including our clients, our partners, and Aon’s own market-leading human capital databases Create advanced statistical and machine-learning models to provide specific recommendations to business leaders Communicate complex quantitative analyses in a clear, precise, and actionable manner Leverage data visualization to convey insights in a compelling way Work in a team, take initiative, and share your knowledge with others How this opportunity is different Human Capital Data Scientists will have the opportunity to apply and develop advanced data skills and play an important role in delivering innovative solutions. Skills and experience that will lead to success Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science or related field Four years of work experience with a Bachelor’s degree or at least two years of experience with an advanced degree Proficiency with Python Knowledge of data visualization software such as Tableau or Power BI Experience with multivariate linear regression models and hypothesis testing Experience with collaborative development environment like GitHub Preferred skills and experience: Proficiency with SQL/SSIS and ETL processes Experience with Databricks and Snowflake A passion for data visualization Experience with advanced econometrics and machine learning methods for social sciences Experience with prompt engineering How we support our colleagues In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage an inclusive workforce. The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $100,000 - $105,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
