Job Description

Our Baltimore-based client is seeking a Quality Analyst/Engineer with strong experience in Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) and Financials implementations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality and performance of Workday configuration and integrations across HR, payroll, and finance modules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with developers to define and test Workday functionality delivered in development sprints.
• Review business and technical requirements to write use cases, test plans, and both manual and automated test scripts.
• Create and maintain regression test suites, with a preference for automation where feasible.
• Monitor system deployments and work closely with ERP analysts to validate functionality.
• Partner with Workday configuration specialists and business stakeholders to ensure test coverage aligns with real-world usage.
• Build automated API tests to validate system integrations.
• Document test results and file detailed bug reports.
• Update Azure DevOps with test execution status, defects, and release notes.
• Support performance testing efforts in coordination with Workday technical teams.

Required Experience & Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on Workday experience across HCM and/or Financials, including testing business processes, integrations, and security roles.
• Familiarity with Workday’s configuration tools and security model.
• Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit) and scripting automated test cases.
• Solid understanding of QA processes, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and software development lifecycle.
• Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, iterative development environment.
