What You’ll Do

Sales & Client Relationships

  • Develop leads and build client relationships.
  • Pitch and sell video production services to potential clients.
  • Earn commission on every sale you make.

Video Production

  • Plan, shoot, and edit videos for the clients you sell to.
  • Deliver high-quality video content that aligns with client goals and company standards.
  • Expand your portfolio with a variety of premium projects.

Qualifications

Video Production Skills: Proven experience in shooting, editing, and delivering professional-grade video content. The right candidate will have the ability to manage the entire production process from concept to completion.

  • Lighting: Three-point setup, natural/practical/studio lighting, modifiers (diffusers, reflectors, gels).
  • Composition: Rule of thirds, leading lines, symmetry, framing, depth of field, dynamic shots for various scenarios.
  • Camera Operation: Mirrorless/cinema cameras (Sony FX and/or A Series is a plus), ISO/aperture/shutter speed, LOG/HDR formats.
  • Editing: Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, multicam editing, advanced techniques (speed ramping, masking, etc.).
  • Color Correction & Grading: Exposure balancing, LUTs, color scopes (waveform, vectorscope).
  • Audio: On-set capture (lav, shotgun, recorders), EQ, noise reduction, syncing sources.
  • Camera Movement: Gimbals, sliders, tripods, handheld techniques.
  • Data Management: File organization, footage backup, export optimization.
  • Formats & Codecs: ProRes, H.264, MOV, etc.
  • Green Screen: Setup, keying, compositing.
  • Time-Lapse & Slow Motion: Camera configuration, manual/interval shooting.

Sales Skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Confidence in presenting ideas and solutions to clients.
  • Willingness to learn and apply effective sales strategies.

  • A portfolio showcasing your video production work (required).

  • Your earnings are performance-based and depend on your sales and production work. With our pricing model and premium client base, top performers can earn $70,000 to $100,000+ annually .

Do I need my own equipment?

  • No, MEM Media provides access to professional equipment . However, if you prefer to use your own gear, that's welcome too.

What training will I receive?

  • We offer ongoing training to help you succeed in both sales and video production. This includes sales strategies, shadowing opportunities, hands-on workshops, and production skill-building .

What’s a typical work schedule like?

  • This role offers flexibility . While you'll have control over your schedule, we expect full-time commitment, including sales outreach, meetings, video shoots, and editing work to ensure your success.

Is this role remote or in-person?

  • Our role offers flexibility for both remote and in-person work, depending on project needs and your location. For shoots, you may need to be on-site with clients, but editing can often be done remotely.

Do I have to sell to work on video projects?

  • Yes, your production work will be tied to the clients you sell to. This means the more you sell, the more video projects you’ll work on and earn from.
