Job Details Responsibilities - Work closely with stakeholders across all levels of the organization to understand their business needs and translate them into functional and non-functional requirements.
- Drive the development and implementation of new systems and processes to enhance our business operations, with a particular focus on mortgage lending and integrations.
- Lead the testing and QA processes to ensure the successful implementation of new systems and enhancements, identifying and resolving any issues that arise.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including business requirements documents, functional specifications, process flows, and user guides.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of our business operations and performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and making recommendations for strategic initiatives.
- Facilitate communication between the technical team and non-technical stakeholders, acting as a bridge to ensure mutual understanding and alignment.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the tech services industry, leveraging this knowledge to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
Qualifications - A bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field. A master's degree would be considered an asset.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a business analyst role, ideally within the tech services industry.
- Extensive experience with mortgage lending and integrations.
- Strong knowledge of development processes and methodologies.
- Proven experience in testing and QA, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
- Solid understanding of REST API and API.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable business insights.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence decision-making at all levels of the organization.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to complex business challenges.
- Professional certification in Business Analysis would be considered an asset.
