We are seeking a skilled Urgent Care Physician Assistant for a locum tenens position in Oregon. This 36-day assignment begins on 06/01/2025, with 12-hour shifts from 7am to 7pm, covering 11-14 shifts per month. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working as the sole provider in a busy urgent care setting, performing various in-office procedures such as incision and drainage, suturing, foreign body removal, and toenail removal. • Serve as the sole provider in an urgent care setting
• Perform various in-office procedures including I&D, sutures, foreign body removal, and toenail removal
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries
• Conduct physical examinations and order appropriate diagnostic tests
• Prescribe medications and provide patient education
• Utilize Experity electronic health record system for patient documentation
• Collaborate with referring physicians and specialists when necessary
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records
• Adhere to all facility policies and procedures
• Demonstrate ability to work independently and make quick, accurate clinical decisions
• Stay updated on the latest urgent care practices and technologies

Additional Information:

• Must be licensed as a Physician Assistant in Oregon
• Experience in urgent care or emergency medicine required
• Proficiency in Experity EHR system preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable with high patient volume and diverse cases
• Possibility of assignment extension
