As a Security Officer - Distribution Site in Schertz, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more .

As a valued member of the Allied Universal team, you will play a key role in access control at a dynamic logistics and distribution location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents, and maintaining a visible presence to support a secure environment. You will interact with visitors and staff, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding the highest standards of professionalism. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities according to site protocols.
  • Communicate with Allied Universal management and client representatives regarding security-related matters as needed.
  • Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with access procedures and general inquiries at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • A valid driver’s license is required for positions that involve driving and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
