The RN MS OB Safety Edu Trainer is responsible for facilitating experiential learning through high-risk obstetric and neonatal simulations, guiding participants in clinical skills and decision-making. This role includes collaborating with educators to create a cohesive learning experience and conducting debriefing sessions to evaluate learning outcomes. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, RN licensure, and several years of clinical and educational experience in obstetrics and/or neonatal care.

General Summary of Position
Responsible for facilitation of experiential learning in situ and debriefing of high risk obstetric and/or neonatal simulation scenarios.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Shares clinical expertise and facilitate learning in their specialty.
• Supports simulation scenarios by providing guidance, supervision, and assessment of participants' clinical skills and decision-making.
• Facilitates debriefing sessions with participants to discuss learning outcomes and areas for improvement.
• Collaborates with entity and system educators and leaders to ensure a comprehensive and cohesive learning experience.
• Follows the responsibilities outlined in the Standard Operating Procedure as determined by Obstetric System Education Program Coordinator.
• Assists with scenario development as needed.
• Provides debrief notes to Project Coordinator.
• Attends MOST team meetings.

Minimum Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree In Nursing: required for nursing applicants required

Experience

• 3-4 years Recent inpatient obstetric and/or neonatal clinical experience required and
• 3-4 years Education/preceptor and/or simulation experience required

Licenses and Certifications

• RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure Upon Hire required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Excellent problem-solving, organizational and prioritization skills. Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively interact with multi-disciplinary teams.

This position has a hiring range of $46.17 - $75.62
