Position location: This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule based out of Deerfield, IL. Effective mid-2025, Fortune Brands will transition to a new world-class campus in Deerfield, bringing together associates from across our U.S. offices, brands, and functions. The campus will offer vibrant workspaces for collaboration, along with amenities for dining, onsite daycare, fitness, and recreation.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a Senior HRIS Analyst , you will perform analyses, configuration, testing, support, and maintenance of HR Systems, data, and reports. Our HR systems include, but are not limited to, human capital management, absence, timekeeping, talent, recruitment, compensation, payroll, and benefits. We currently use Workday HRIS and SmartRecruiters ATS.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage business processes configuration and testing in HRIS.
• Configure, maintain, and resolve issues in the HR System.
• Diagnose and track system challenges and recommend improved/new functionality to support business strategies and return on investment.
• Serve on cross-departmental teams and provide expertise/support for HR System project teams including acquisitions, new modules/functionality, and facilitate process improvements.
• Implement new procedures/projects and improvements due to business changes, operational requirements, strategic initiatives, and legal requirements.
• Lead design sessions, facilitate meetings and develop project plans.
• Create and maintain a variety of ongoing reports, as well as ad hoc reports and metrics in consultation with internal clients.
• As part of a collaborative team, evaluate business process design and system capabilities based on the needs of the business.
• Responsible for end-user support including the creation and maintenance of job aids and system training. Provide communications to end users as needed.
• Maintain organizational hierarchy and data setup in HRIS. Review and audit data in various HR systems to ensure accuracy. Review, test, and implement system upgrades or patches. Prepare test cases and execute test plans across all areas of HR. Document test results, analyze and report overall status.
• Serve as a liaison with third parties and other global stakeholders (e.g., payroll, HR Business Partners, etc.) to ensure that they are fully supported by and efficiently using HR systems.
• Maintain awareness of current trends in the Workday ecosystem.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Human Resources, or a related subject or equivalent experience required
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Workday
• Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) to include a strong understanding and experience with database, spreadsheet and report writing tools.
• Strong oral and written communication skills including the ability to convey technical information to nontechnical users; ability to interact with users and have customer service focus.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, solution focused.
• Ability to partner with others and collaborate across the organization.
• Proven ability to multitask and manage multiple competing priorities.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, collaborative and results driven environment.

Additional Information

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is $81,000 USD - $125,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance or a role-based sales incentive plan.
