We are offering a 3m-4m temporary employment opportunity for a PC Technician based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This role is part of a dynamic IT team, focused on supporting the migration of IT infrastructure across various sites Internationally . The PC Technician will be instrumental in assisting end-users during migration, and providing ad-hoc IT support post-migration. Candidates must have valid passport and be based out of the greater Milwaukee area as when not traveling you will be working onsite.

Responsibilities:

• Check migration data if user shall have new / replacement endpoint or have their own computer reused.
• Welcome end-users scheduled for migration and commenced the migration process with them.
• Migrate by joining user, device, and phone by the defined Intune enrolment processes 
• Receive and log the device according to checklist 
• Study user guides on the Intranet named Digital Compass to familiarize and prepare to provide good support.
• Provide handed in devices with proper marking of the owner for easy and quick identification and re-imaging and hand-out 
• Use sound judgement to determine if end-user needs more support and direct to supporters / floorwalkers 
• Provide ad-hoc support for the migrated end-users while the migration team is on site 
• Be visible, service minded and the migration programs public image on site 
• Provide necessary hand-out support and service according to hand-out checklist. 

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a PC Technician or in a similar role.

• Proficiency in Computer Hardware, specifically Dell Technologies and Mac Computers.

• Familiarity with AB Testing and its practical applications.

• Hands-on experience with Active Directory, including its setup and administration.

• Ability to setup and troubleshoot Apple Devices.

• Understanding of various Backup Technologies and their implementation.

• Knowledge of Intune for mobile device management.

• Experience with Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) setup and troubleshooting.

• Expertise in Mobile Device Support, including troubleshooting and maintenance.
