This position requires expertise in various aspects of patent litigation, including trial preparation, motions, depositions, and discovery management. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and writing skills, a proven track record in patent litigation, and a solid academic background. Duties and Responsibilities: Represent clients in patent litigation cases from inception through resolution. Prepare and argue motions before courts and administrative bodies. Conducted depositions and managed discovery processes effectively. Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and expert reports. Develop and implement litigation strategies in coordination with senior attorneys. Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies. Interact with clients to provide updates and legal advice. Collaborate with expert witnesses and prepare for expert testimony. Participate in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution processes. Stay current on relevant legal precedents and changes in patent law. Requirements: 4-7 years of experience in patent litigation. Demonstrated experience with trial preparation, motions, depositions, and discovery management. Experience with Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) and International Trade Commission (ITC) proceedings is a plus. Strong organizational and writing skills. Excellent academic credentials with a law degree from an accredited institution. A proactive approach with a desire to excel in a dynamic law firm environment. Education: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications: Admission to the State Bar of California. Admission to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) is preferred. Skills: In-depth knowledge of patent law and litigation procedures. Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple cases simultaneously. Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills.
