Assist in preparing for oral hearings and patent-related legal arguments. Build and maintain relationships with clients, providing strategic IP advice. Work effectively as part of a team, ensuring high-quality service and client satisfaction. Requirements: Experience in patent drafting and prosecution. Background in Biomedical Engineering or related discipline. Ability to handle matters across most areas of Biomedical Engineering and related sciences. Strong interpersonal and writing skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Knowledge of patent law and experience with patent prosecution. Education: J.D. from an accredited law school. Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering or a related field is preferred. Additional background in artificial intelligence, bioinformatics, medical devices, medical imaging, or robotics is a plus. Certifications: Admission to at least one state bar is required. Registration with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) is a plus. Skills: Excellent writing and communication skills. Strong technical knowledge in Biomedical Engineering and related fields. In-depth understanding of patent prosecution processes. Ability to collaborate with clients and colleagues in a team environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
