Job Summary

Plans, directs, or coordinates quality assurance programs.

General Accountabilities

• Determines and develops company quality procedures, standards and specifications.
• Evaluates and ensures customer requirements are met.
• Specifies quality requirements of materials with suppliers.
• Investigates and sets standards for quality and health and safety.
• Ensures that manufacturing processes comply with regulations.
• Collaborates with operating personnel to establish procedures, standards, and systems.
• Produces management and technical reports.
• Acts as a catalyst for change and improvement in performance and quality.
• Directs objectives to maximize profitability.
• Records, analyzes and distributes statistical information.
• Supervises technical staff and monitors performance.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Experience: One to two years of related experience.
