Our
Web Developer Intern will be responsible for the maintenance, development, and optimization of the company's website and mobile app. Individual will help to ensure our eCommerce platform is functional and optimized for driving business growth.
What are the requirements for this position? - Experience and knowledge in Shopify.
- Perform detailed website analysis and optimization, demonstrating a keen attention to detail in enhancing performance, functionality, and overall user experience.
- Understanding web languages: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Shopify Liquid, 3rd party integration, plugins.
- Experience in SEO, Google Analytics and webmaster tools
- Experience and knowledge in using online marketing platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.
Key Responsibilities: - Oversee the performance of websites under APEC Water.
- Manage and update general content & web pages.
- Troubleshoot and optimize website functions and mobile application.
- Maintain and update the latest software version, fix security issues, and related tasks.
- Ability to source third party apps, widgets, plugins, or design solutions.
- Work with different departments, 3rd party providers, outsource to maintain functional, UI/UX optimized, SEO focused websites.
- Generate and execute test cases to ensure the websites, web apps, plugins, etc., are working as intended.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree (BS) in Computer Science, or relevant field
- 2+ years of Shopify experience preferred.
- Positive and proactive communication skills
- Ability to work and solve problems independently.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and a consistent record of meeting deadlines and responding to requests.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
