Key Responsibilities:
Develop and Implement IEPs: Create and execute Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to meet each student's unique learning needs and goals.
Provide Engaging Virtual Instruction: Deliver high-quality instruction in a remote setting, adapting lessons to accommodate various learning styles and abilities.
Collaborate with Educators and Support Staff: Work closely with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and other specialists to foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Monitor and Track Student Progress: Maintain accurate digital records, track progress toward IEP goals, and communicate updates with parents and school teams.
Adapt Teaching Strategies for Online Learning: Utilize innovative teaching methods and technology to enhance student engagement and success in a virtual classroom.

Qualifications:
Michigan Teaching License with a Special Education endorsement (required).
Minimum of 2 years of experience in special education, preferably in a virtual or hybrid setting.
Proficiency in virtual learning platforms (such as Zoom, Google Classroom, or similar educational technologies).
Strong adaptability and creativity in developing strategies to support diverse learning needs in a remote environment.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage with students, families, and school staff effectively.
