Location: Lawrenceville, Georgia
Shift Type: 12-hour Days; Saturday & Sunday (7 AM - 7:30 PM), plus one weekday (9 AM - 9:30 PM)
Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) team at QuickMed Staffing in Lawrenceville GA. This role is essential in providing exceptional post-operative care to patients recovering from anesthesia. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in a PACU or similar clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor patients as they recover from anesthesia, ensuring their vital signs remain stable.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician.
- Assess patients for any signs of complications or adverse reactions to anesthesia.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding post-operative care and recovery.
- Document patient care activities and maintain accurate medical records.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and efficient PACU environment.

Qualifications:

- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a PACU or similar clinical setting.
- Required BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
- Preferred PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification.
- Strong knowledge of post-anesthetic care procedures and protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-stress environment.
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills.

Quick Med Staffing Job ID #2025-81604. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
