DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Mayo Clinic Transplant Center and the Division of Nephrology is seeking a Transplant Nephrologist to join the transplant team in Phoenix, Arizona. As a result of our growth and success in the last several years, the Kidney Transplant Program is now the largest kidney transplant program in the U.S. completing 525 transplants in 2024.
We are seeking an incremental academic transplant nephrologist with outstanding clinical acumen who will support the clinical practice, carry out his or her own research activities, and contribute to trainee education. The organization and the Division of Nephrology and Transplant Center is placing significant emphasis on expanding research activities in Arizona. Candidates engaged in research or looking to expand their research interests will have opportunities to collaborate with colleagues across the Mayo enterprise in several areas including AI, clinical and translational research. The successful candidate will also receive an academic appointment with Mayo Clinic College of Medicine.
