DC Washington - Washington, DC 20226 US (Primary) Category: Educational and Training Job Type: Full-time Typical Pay/Range: $32.56 Hourly Education: Bachelor's Degree Travel: None Security Clearance Required: None POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS): Alutiiq Career Ventures, LLC a subsidiary of Alutiiq, LLC has a potential opportunity for a Training Specialist in the Washington DC/Virginia area. The Training Specialist is responsible for delivering comprehensive training programs under the NGB SAPR framework. This role involves developing and executing training curricula, managing logistics, and ensuring compliance with DoD and NGB guidelines. This opportunity is for a POTENTIAL CONTRACT award and is contingent upon the contract being awarded. Consideration for a potential contract may require a signed letter of intent. If the contract is awarded, another position posting will be available on the Company Careers portal. Key Responsibilities: Training Development: Create and update SAPR training curricula, Training Support Packages (TSPs), and related materials in compliance with DoD directives. Facilitation: Lead SAPR Joint Initial Training events, ensuring alignment with program objectives. Logistics Management: Coordinate training venues, agendas, speakers, and material distribution. Evaluation: Conduct After-Action Reports, incorporating feedback for continuous improvement. Compliance Reporting: Track and report on training participation, D-SAACP certification, and refresher training requirements. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: Proficiency in curriculum design and adult learning principles. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (e.g., PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, OneNote). Familiarity with DoD SAPR policies and D-SAACP certification requirements. Strong organizational and communication skills. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC).
