Akkodis is seeking a Team Operator - Shift 3 for a Contract job with a client in Southington, CT. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to multitask in a manufacturing environment .

Rate Range: $19/hour to $21.50/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Team Operator - Shift 3 job responsibilities include:

• Setting molds, making process adjustments, and operating complex molding machines to produce high-quality assemblies and insert molded tubing.

• Taking process parameter readings and performing tests per applicable documentation.

• Performing audits to establish cutoff points for nonconforming products.

• Completing nonconformance and holding documentation as required.

• Pulling required inspection samples as totes of molded components are completed.

• Creating trace, container labels, and pallet sheets, and scanning bar-coded labels into the system.

• Ensuring changeover paperwork is completed with the proper information.

• Performing initial and alternate product disposition, moving items to appropriate staging areas.

• Assisting in the training of new operators (On-the-Job Training).

• Maintaining 5S standards in assigned work areas and modeling company values.

• Inspecting multiple types of parts against specifications and communicating issues to the responsible technician.

• Ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards, and following documented procedures.

• Engaging in and promoting Environmental, Health, and Safety initiatives, focusing on continuous improvement.

• Performing other related duties as assigned or required.

Desired Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Less than 1 year of experience; a manufacturing background is preferred.

• Knowledge and experience in operating molding machines and performing process adjustments.

• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, following established safety procedures and maintaining high-quality standards.

Pay Details: $19.00 to $21.50 per hour
