Job Description
Akkodis is seeking a Senior Java FSE for a Contract job with a client in Plano, TX (Hybrid) . The candidate will design solution architectures, lead technical aspects of projects, and mentor peers to ensure successful project delivery.
Rate Range: $50/hour to $52/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Senior Java FSE job responsibilities include:
Designing and transforming solution architectures into scalable application capabilities.
Leading technical aspects of projects with Microservices Architecture on Cloud and on-premises.
Collaborating with clients to gather and prioritize business requirements using domain-driven design.
Creating high-level design documents, such as use-cases, activity diagrams, and database designs.
Ensuring code quality through secure coding practices, code coverage, and code format templates.
Defining code branching, merging, and commit policies.
Mentoring and guiding team members to meet project deliverables.
Managing deployments and preparing release notes.
Conducting root cause analysis for production issues and implementing corrective actions.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
6+ years of experience in Full Stack Java development, including expertise in Microservices, Spring Boot, and React JS.
Proficiency in AWS cloud, Angular JS, and Test Automation.
Strong knowledge of Core Java, Spring Core, and Java Design Patterns.
