At GardaWorld, we know your compensation is important so we provide competitive hourly starting rates for every market we’re in. We're growing our team here in Temple, Texas:
Compensation: $17.00 Hour
Shifts: Schedule 1 :Wednesday - Sunday 2PM - 10 PM (40 hours / Full Time)
Schedule 2 : Saturday - Sunday 6 AM - 2 PM / Monday - Tuesday 2 PM - 10 PM (32 hours / Full Time)
Schedule 3 : Sunday - Thursday 10 PM - 6 AM ( 40 Hours / Full Time)
About the job: - Excellent customer service is always your top priority.
- You observe, survey the area and provide reporting on activity at your assigned location.
- You provide rapid response in critical situations.
- You’re good with reading and writing detailed reports.
- You know when and how to enforce customer procedures, regulations and standards.
- Lobby Officer will monitor all individuals in your post area and report any suspicious behavior to your supervisor and the client's supervisor on duty.
- Ensure no product is being taken or walking out with employees at the turnstile entrance.
- Escort authorized personnel to receive the Cigarette Stamps from the Vault.
- Gate Officer will swap locks on all incoming trucks and take locks off outbound trailers and complete appropriate paperwork.
- Inspect Client Trailers that are departing and verify product in trailer to Gate Pass.
- Inspect all outbound independent drivers and ensure trailer is empty and any remaining product is verified with Client approved paperwork.
- Sign in all OTR Drivers for receiving.
- All Drivers must also show their Driver’s License & Medical Card.
- Check all incoming Client Employees for employee badges. If they do not show their badges, contact the Client's Supervisor on Duty, document their name, and enter the incident on your DAR.
Your background: - You have a high school education or equivalent (GED)
- You’re able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
- Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience required
- You have a Texas Security License or ability to obtain one
- You're at least 18 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirements
- You are able to pass a background check and drug test
