Qualifications:

  • You need to know plastic to sell plastics. The company is looking for a sales and business development manager with 5 years of experience in an environment that would develop a technical understanding of plastics and/or molded products.
  • You need to be able to sell “custom solutions,” as opposed to just selling commodity products.
  • You’ll need to have some experience with materials, sufficient to understand the practical applications and what kind of material is used for what kind of product or application.
  • If you are a business development and sales pro, you probably have clients you can call on. The more relationships you bring to the table, the more you are worth!
  • The company isn’t looking for a sales person who makes a sale and moves on. They're looking for a relationship-based, technical-minded, business development professional who thrives on growing sales, loves the challenge, and wants to grow the business and improve themselves.
