You will play a crucial role in managing real estate legal issues, including property development, leasing and litigation. Job Details Responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal support for real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing.
- Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of real estate documents such as purchase agreements, lease agreements, easements, and deeds.
- Conduct comprehensive due diligence for potential real estate transactions, including review of title documents, environmental studies, and land surveys.
- Represent the company in legal proceedings, if necessary.
- Provide legal advice to the company on potential risks and liabilities associated with real estate transactions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders.
- Stay updated on current laws and regulations related to real estate law, and inform the team of any significant changes that may affect the company's real estate transactions.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a real estate attorney, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be licensed to practice law in California.
- Proven experience in real estate law, with a focus on commercial real estate transactions.
- Proficient in legal research and writing, with the ability to draft and review legal documents and contracts effectively.
- Strong negotiation skills, with a proven track record of successfully closing complex real estate deals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide practical legal advice to clients.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and other stakeholders.
- Must be detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Must be self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong ethical standards, with the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
