You will be a firm advocate of quality in our production. The ideal candidate will possess a trained eye for detail and will be reliable and committed. Knowledge and comprehension of quality is essential. The goal is to ensure that our products are made of flawless materials with well-functioning parts that meet our customers' high standards.ResponsibilitiesApprove or reject the product with respect to quality standards and select output samples and check them using appropriate methods (measuring dimensions, comparing to specifications etc.)Use measuring tools such as pi tape, calipers, durometer, CMM machine and various gauges to ensure correct dimensions.Trim defective part to correct demensions. Maintain records of testing, information and various metrics such as number of defective products per day etc.Prepare and submit reports to the quality managerProven experience as quality inspector or relevant roleA keen eye for detail and a results-driven approachResponsible and trustworthyFamiliarity with quality measurement tools.Skills/Experience1 year of proven experience as quality inspector or relevant roleA keen eye for detail and a results-driven approachResponsible and trustworthyFamiliarity with quality measurement tools.Education - Highschool or equivalentAdhere to ISO 90001Work Environment and Physical DemandsExposure to manufacturing environment preferred.No Temperature controls, the plant can be very hot or very cold as outside weatherWear protective safety equipmentMay be exposed to possible shop hazards including heaving machinery, fumes, dust, heat and high pressure and temperatures.Stooping, bending, walking and standing for the duration of work shiftComfortable standing for long periods and performing repetitive tasks.Must be able to lift at least 50lbsManual DexterityFollow all safety guidelines to ensure personal and team safety.Work responsibilities are not limited to descriptions mentioned on this job posting.
