We're looking for a Purchasing Assistant to join a supply company in downtown Birmingham.
Job Details:
Pay : $17.00 per hour (Temp-to-Hire)
⏰ Schedule : Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (with some flexibility)
Job Summary:
In this role, you’ll negotiate pricing and delivery for essential commodities, supporting ongoing operations. You'll also prepare, analyze, and review sourcing decisions to assist with short-term strategy development.

Work ExperienceRequired Skills:
- Great negotiation skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to meet daily job requirements on time
- Attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong computer skills
- General business knowledge with purchasing experience
- Ability to thrive in a sometimes high-pressure environment
- Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) A plus
- Strong organizational skills
