Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Commercial Roofing Project Manager
- Extensive knowledge of roofing systems, materials, and installation techniques
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices within the construction industry
- Strong ability to work independently and with others
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively
- Ability to delegate tasks effectively
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed
Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Preparation: Develop a detailed project plan, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
Review project scope, specifications, and requirements.
Conduct site visits and assess project feasibility.
Coordinate with clients and other stakeholders to clarify project objectives and expectations.
Allocate resources (labor, materials, and equipment) efficiently based on project requirements.
Monitor resource usage to optimize productivity and minimize waste.
Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure adequate stock levels.
Establish and maintain professional relationships with subcontractors and vendors.
Manage subcontractor performance, ensuring quality and adherence to project timelines.
Budgeting and Cost Control: Develop project budgets, track costs, and ensure adherence to financial targets.
Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.
Implement safety measures to minimize workplace hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections.
Communication and Reporting: Establish effective communication channels with clients, subcontractors, and project team members.
Delegate responsibilities to crew members and field supervisors effectively.
Prepare and distribute reports, including project status updates, financial summaries, and risk assessments.
Quality Assurance and Control: Develop and implement quality control procedures and guidelines.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and industry standards.
Empower project team members to maintain high-quality workmanship.
