Responsibilities As part of our continued growth as a national medical group, we have excellent opportunities in our Dallas North practice for neonatal nurse practitioners who are eager to grow professionally in a team environment. * Our practice is composed of a diverse group of 29 neonatologists and 31 NNPs who provide care and rotate through several Level II - Level IV NICUs. Facilities span from Collin to Dallas and Rockwall Counties. * Neonatologists' responsibilities including a combination of 24-hour shifts in-house at the busy Level-III NICUs and call from home in the smaller units * Medical City Children's Hospital, our largest Level IV 103-bed NICU, is a full-service children's hospital with a Level IV Maternal designation providing comprehensive care for expecting mothers. Medical City Children's is the only hospital in North Texas where a high-risk mother can deliver in the same facility and the needs of both mother and baby can be addressed * Integrated services from our Pediatrix family of sub-specialists including pediatric surgeons, pediatric cardiologists, maternal-fetal medicine physicians and pediatric ophthalmologists and developmental pediatricians. * The practice collaborates with pediatric sub-specialists in the following specialties: hematology/oncology, pediatric infectious disease, immunology, gastroenterology, pulmonology, nephrology, cardiology, neurology, fetal and pediatric surgery About the Area The Dallas/North Dallas area is one of the most famous and fastest-growing metropolitan destinations in America for its energetic lifestyle, excellent food, museums, sporting events and variety of things to do.
