Mid-Level IP Trademark & Copyright Associate – Nationally Ranked IP Practice | Los Angeles, CA

A nationally respected Am Law 200 firm is seeking a Mid-Level Associate Attorney with at least five years of experience to join its premier Trademark & Copyright Practice Group in Los Angeles. This position is in-office and offers the chance to work alongside a nationally recognized team representing some of the world’s most iconic brands.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and prosecute domestic and international trademark portfolios.

• Handle TTAB opposition and cancellation proceedings.

• Develop and implement global anti-counterfeiting enforcement programs.

• Provide strategic counseling on trademark, copyright, and brand protection issues.

• Draft and negotiate licensing, coexistence, and settlement agreements.

• Support IP due diligence efforts in M&A and other corporate transactions.

• Offer guidance on copyright registration, protection, and enforcement matters.

• Collaborate with global counsel to align and execute international IP strategies.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in trademark and copyright law.

• Proven ability to lead complex trademark prosecution and TTAB matters.

• Experience with anti-counterfeiting enforcement and IP litigation support.

• Strong communication and analytical skills; exceptional attention to detail.

• JD from an accredited U.S. law school with strong academic performance.

• Active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.

• Admission or eligibility for admission in California required.
