Job Description:

• We are seeking a highly motivated NX CAD Modeler to join our Battery Modeling Team. In this role, you’ll create and iterate 3D models and assemblies of battery packs, modules, and enclosures using Siemens NX.
• Key Responsibilities
• Create 3D/2D models and drawings for battery components using Siemens NX
• Perform tolerance analysis and design distribution modeling
• Build parametric assemblies with constraints
• Automate design processes using NXOpen scripts
• Perform geometry evaluation and model cleanup
• Collaborate with mechanical, thermal, electrical, and manufacturing teams
• Ensure designs meet GD&T and DFM standards
• Manage model revisions using PLM tools like Teamcenter

Qualifications:

• Master’s in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 3+ years of Siemens NX experience (battery or electronics preferred)
• Strong skills in parametric/assembly design and geometry cleanup
• Experience with battery pack/module CAD design
• Knowledge of GD&T and design for manufacturing
• Familiarity with PLM systems (e.g., Teamcenter)
• NXOpen programming skills preferred
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• NXOpen automation expertise
• Synchronous modeling in NX
• FEA and geometry pre-processing experience
