Job Title: Entry-Level Mechanical Engineer

Chirp is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Mechanical Engineer to join our innovative team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to design products that improve people's lives by helping people feel good so that they can do more. As part of our team, you will collaborate on the development of complex electromechanical systems, prototype testing, and support product manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design of electromechanical systems, ensuring functionality, durability, and user experience.
• Perform engineering calculations to ensure robust designs.
• Test prototypes and troubleshoot mechanical design issues to refine and optimize product performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate components and assemblies to meet design and quality standards.
• Produce 3D models and technical drawings using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks), ensuring they align with manufacturing requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks or similar)
• Strong understanding of basic engineering principles (statics, dynamics, materials science, thermodynamics, etc.).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and address engineering challenges.
• Strong attention to detail in both design work and documentation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Strong work ethic, with a proactive attitude and a willingness to learn.
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally for factory visits, product testing, and collaboration with global teams.
• Preferred (optional): Internship or previous experience in mechanical
