This role is essential in supporting our small firm by conducting thorough legal research, keeping an ogranized schedule, tracking important dates and deadlines, interacting with clients, and assisting with the preparation of legal documents.

Duties

• Conduct extensive legal research to support ongoing cases and projects.
• Assist in drafting legal documents, including contracts, briefs, and memoranda.
• Review and organize case files, ensuring all relevant information is accurately documented.
• Collaborate with lead attorney to prepare for hearings and status conferences.
• Track important filing dates and deadlines.
• Maintain a comprehensive database of legal resources and references.

Experience

• No prior experience in a law firm is required, however attention to detail, an eagerness to learn, and a positive attitude while working with a small team are absolutely necessary.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey complex information clearly.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
