We are seeking a skilled and driven associate to join a globally recognized Finance and Business Restructuring & Reorganization team in San Francisco, CA. This role offers the opportunity to tackle sophisticated financial matters and lead impactful legal solutions for top-tier clients in the industry.

This position is with a distinguished law firm renowned for its excellence in handling complex financial transactions and restructuring matters. Highlights include:

• Top-of-the-Capital-Structure Leadership: Representing hedge funds, CLOs, private equity funds, and financial institutions in Chapter 11 cases and out-of-court restructurings.
• Liability Management Expertise: Deep experience in DIP financings, bankruptcy exit financings, and special situations financings.
• Collaborative Approach: Working with the Global Finance team alongside the Business Restructuring & Reorganization practice group to deliver exceptional client results.

• Advise Clients: Represent creditors and borrowers in liability management transactions, DIP financings, and bankruptcy exit financings.
• Develop Strategies: Design and execute innovative solutions for complex financial matters.
• Draft and Negotiate Agreements: Prepare and review legal documents with precision and insight.
• Collaborate Across Practices: Work seamlessly with interdisciplinary teams on high-profile cases.
• Engage with High-Stakes Representations: Take on challenging assignments involving premier clients and transformative transactions.

We are looking for candidates who demonstrate the following qualifications and attributes:

• Experience Level: Law school graduate from 2016 to 2019 with substantial experience in liability management transactions, DIP financings, and special situations financings.
• Industry Knowledge: Proven ability to handle high-stakes restructuring matters involving leading global financial institutions.

• Juris Doctor (JD): Degree from a top-tier, accredited law school with exceptional academic performance.
• Bar Admission: Active membership in good standing or eligibility to waive into the California Bar.

• Legal Acumen: Strong skills in drafting, negotiating, and managing complex financial transactions.
• Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated ability to align legal strategies with sophisticated client needs.
• Collaboration and Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams and mentor junior attorneys.
• Client Focus: Commitment to providing tailored legal solutions for high-profile clients.

• Special Situations Expertise: Extensive experience in bankruptcy-related financings and high-value transactions.
• Effective Communication: Exceptional ability to articulate complex legal matters clearly.
• Attention to Detail: Precision in managing intricate legal challenges.
