WHAT WE NEED:

The Junior Talent Acquisition & HR Partner will support our recruitment efforts in finding and attracting the best talent for our company. You will partner closely with our TA Partners and Managers by participating in requisition launch calls, contacting prospective candidates, scheduling interviews (on-site/video), collect interview feedback forms, and provide regular and on-going communication with candidates when required. Additionally, you will support small recruitment initiatives that help transform and improve the Talent Acquisition function for prospective talent and internal partners.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Essential Job Functions and Duties:

  • Support Talent Acquisition's most critical projects and talent needs by working closely with Talent Acquisition Partner(s) and Talent Acquisition Manager daily
  • Create and manage job postings through a variety of sources and networks when requested
  • Learn to source and identify candidates for entry and mid-level openings; source active and passive talent through LinkedIn, networking, social media platforms, referrals, and other proactive methodologies to fulfill the agencies hiring objectives
  • Present top tier talent to Talent Acquisition Partner(s) for pre-screening consideration and support with scheduling when needed
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews for hiring managers and interviewing teams (phone, in-person, video conference) and act as point person on day of interview
  • Provide high touch communication to all candidates, ensuring they are always in the know and have a positive experience throughout the recruitment process
  • Maintain strong communication cross departmentally with Talent Acquisition Partners and hiring managers throughout the interview process
  • Maintain candidate flow and data accuracy in Workday (ATS), LinkedIn, and reporting tools that the Talent Acquisition Team utilizes
  • Learn about our business to the extent that enables you to speak intelligently about our services with candidates and client groups
  • Participate in recruiting events/job fairs to attract prospective talent and increase agency awareness when required
  • Additional recruitment projects when requested
  • Independently recruit on entry-level positions up until offer development: posting job description(s), sourcing, pre-screening, scheduling of interviews, and ongoing communication with candidates in the process
  • Establish regular touch points with hiring managers throughout the hiring process to provide recruitment status updates
  • Facilitate and collect interview feedback forms from interview teams; utilize forms in debrief meetings so hiring managers and Talent Acquisition team can make informed hiring decisions
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition Manager in offer development and execution

Onboarding

  • Manage all aspects of new hire onboarding process
  • Coordinate with payroll, finance, IT, Havas Corporate, etc. to set up new employees in systems in time for start dates
  • Conduct HR portion of new hire orientations and be an on-going resource to provide employee support
  • Manage relocation arrangements for new employees and transfers

Benefits Administration

  • Conduct monthly meetings with new employees to review and explain medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), etc.
  • Monitor new hire open enrollment process to ensure that new employees complete benefits enrollment within first 30 days of employment

General HR Support

  • Maintain employee personnel files in accordance with local and federal regulations
  • Periodically audits I-9 and E-Verify files
  • Special project work as it relates to the HR function, i.e., new process design, employee handbook revisions, KPI design, charts, presentations, etc.
