Job Description
Akkodis is seeking a Java Developer for a Contract job with a client in Lake Mary, FL (Hybrid) . You will be responsible for designing and architecting complex web applications using Java frameworks like Spring and Hibernate.
Rate Range: $48/hour to $50/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Java Developer job responsibilities include:
Architect and design complex web applications using Java frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, and Microservices.
Contribute to UI design and development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks like Angular.
Implement server-side logic, data access layers, and APIs while optimizing application performance.
Estimate project timelines, break down complex tasks, and track progress to ensure timely delivery.
Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Provide guidance and best practices to junior developers, ensuring high code quality and standards.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in Java development with expertise in Java frameworks (Spring, Hibernate, etc.) and REST APIs.
Strong experience with front-end technologies such as Angular, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Familiarity with microservices architecture, Kafka, and cloud-based platforms is highly desirable.
