Western Home Communities is seeking Certified Nurse Aides to be part of our internal pool. Requirements:
• Must be able to travel to Cedar Falls locations, Creekside in Grundy Center, Parkview in Reinbeck, and Grand JiVante in Ackley. And other future locations of WHC.
• Full-time employees must work 3 self-scheduled weekend shifts a month OR choose an on-call weekend
• Part-time employees must work 2 self-scheduled shifts a month or choose an on-call weekend
• Must work 2 self-scheduled holidays
How you’ll impress us:
• You will be willing to work in a team environment
• You will be reliable and attend scheduled shifts
• You will ensure resident's rights are adhered to
• You are able to provide care to residents under the supervision of the nurse and the support of your team
• You provide physical support for residents with daily activities and personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, getting out of bed, using the toilet, walking, standing, or exercising.
• You can assist with organizing, cleaning, laundry, meals, and other assigned tasks
What you will need:
• A positive attitude
• Reliable transportation
• Must possess a current active license to practice as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Iowa.
• Experience/ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and the public.
• Prior Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) experience is preferred, but not required.
