**_Ensuring Charts Success_**
Charts Painters are critical to preparing and painting cryogenic units using different preparation materials and spraying equipment as one of the final steps in the manufacturing process.
**_What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be_**
+ Mix paint to designated specifications
+ Prep units prior to painting using a blasting booth,spray paint application and other hand preparation methods
+ Perform necessary touchups when needed
+ Performset up and maintenance ofbooth and paint sprayer
+ Clean paint spraying equipment daily
+ Adhere to painting specifications and printed work instruction manuals
+ Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by manager
**_Your Education Should Be_**
High school diploma or GED
**_Your Physical Work Environment Will Require_**
+ Exposure to metal cutting, welding odors, welding flash and incidental acceptable limits of x-ray radiation.
+ Possible exposure to chemical odors and temperature extremes.
+ Frequent standing, sitting, walking, bending, stooping, twisting, and occasional crawling.
+ Frequent pushing, pulling, lifting and handling of materials.
+ Occasional climbing and working at elevated positions
+ Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
+ Specific vision abilities required by this role includes close vision.
**_Your Professional Experience Should Be_**
+ Must have a minimum of 1 year of industrial paint experience in a manufacturing environment
+ Previous experience with paint repairs and touchup
+ Previous experience repairing paint equipment
+ This position may require overtime, including weekends, depending on business needs
