**Aerotek is currently hiring for an Industrial Painter**
**Pay: $21-$25/hr pending experience**

**Description:**
Local manufacturing company is currently hiring for industrial painters to join their growing team. Painters will be responsible for preparatory work on manufactured parts as well as painting. Additional responsibilities include:
+ Reads route card to determine type and color of paint or protective coating.
+ Sets up equipment, connects air hose, pressure gauges and spray guns
+ Disassembles and assembles coupling guards and screens where applicable.
+ Uses spray equipment, hand brush or roller to apply the specified type, color and number of coats of paint or protective coating.
+ Uses floor controlled electric crane, hand hoist or walking electric lift truck to position material or move for painting.
+ Cleans and adjusts spraying equipment, making minor repairs such as replacing parts, connecting air hose.
+ Adds thinner, hardeners, catalysts to condition paint.
**Skill Requirements:**
+ Previous experience with the preparatory functions of painting
+ Previous industrial painting experience required
+ Mechanical aptitude
+ Operation of hand tools, power tools, and spray guns
**Additional Information:**
+ Schedule: Monday - Friday
+ Pay: $21-$25 pending experience
