Now Hiring: Industrial Custodian & Forklift Operator
Location: Northeast Houston | Full-Time Opportunity.

Openwork is currently hiring a reliable and motivated Industrial Custodian & Forklift Operator to join a leading industrial facility in Northeast Houston. This position plays a critical role in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment that supports smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness throughout the facility, including production floors, equipment areas, restrooms, and break rooms.
• Operate a forklift to assist with sanitation and material handling tasks.
• Sanitize surfaces, windows, and machinery exteriors.
• Degrease machinery and equipment as needed to support safe and efficient operation.
• Regularly empty trash, recycling containers, and hoppers.
• Promptly remove debris and address spills to ensure a safe, organized work environment.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and use cleaning equipment correctly.
• Follow directions from supervisors and collaborate effectively with team members.
• Support general labor functions as required.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years or more of recent industrial or commercial cleaning experience.
• Must have industrial forklift experience.
• Comfortable working in environments with dust, noise, and fluctuating temperatures.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude.

Schedule & Pay :

• Monday - Friday / 7:00 am - 4:00 pm.
• Pay Rate : $16.00 - $18.00 per hour (based on experience).

Important Information : Candidates will be required to undergo background checks, including Criminal City, State, and National checks, Drug Screening in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
