LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently looking for an Income Tax Accountant to job our client in Oklahoma City, OK. This direct hire opportunity offers a hybrid work environment.
The Income Tax Accountant will be responsible for preparing tax returns and reporting, interpreting tax regulations, preparing forecasts, analyzing tax accounts and identifying potential audit exposure areas. This role requires a minimum of 3 years of related experience.
Responsibilities:
· Ensure timely and accurate submissions of tax returns, tax declarations and reporting
· Interpret tax regulations
· Prepare forecasts and models for tax accounts
· Perform analysis of tax accounts
· Maintain records and tax information
· Communicate with external tax agencies, consultants, and auditors
· Identity potential audit exposure areas and recommend improvements
Qualifications:
· 3+ years of tax experience required
· Bachelor’s degree preferred
· Intermediate knowledge of GAAP
· Familiarity with tax codes and rules
· Thorough understanding of tax research tools
· CPA preferred
