Job Description

We are excited to invite applications for the role of Immigration Paralegal, located in Fort Lauderdale. This full-time, direct hire position is perfect for a motivated individual eager to contribute to a dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a profound understanding of immigration law and demonstrate exceptional organizational skills.

MUST be able to reliably commute to the office in Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33309 (5 days per week for 3-month probationary period)
Remote/Hybrid schedules and pay increases will be considered after a 3-month probationary period

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with attorneys to prepare and file a variety of immigration petitions and applications, including family-based and employment-based petitions, naturalization, and asylum applications.
Collect, organize, and manage client documents and information efficiently.
Conduct in-depth legal research on immigration-related matters.
Maintain continuous communication with clients regarding case progress and requirements.
Update and manage case files systematically.
Draft correspondence and prepare legal documents with precision.
Support attorneys with additional tasks as required.

Required Qualifications:

Paralegal certification is preferred; extensive relevant experience will also be considered.
Previous experience as an immigration paralegal, especially with employment, investor/education, and family-based visas (e.g., EB2, OPT, EB1).
Strong grasp of immigration law and procedural knowledge.
Outstanding organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently while being a collaborative team player.
Proficient in both written and verbal communication.
Technological proficiency is essential.
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
