Freelance Event Sales & Rebook Specialist (Onsite at [brightonSEO San Diego])

Type: Freelance / Temporary Contract

Day Rate: Competitive, based on experience

We’re looking for an experienced freelance sales professional to join our onsite team at brightonSEO & Hero Conf, a leading digital marketing conference and exhibition. Your mission? Help our exhibitors secure their spot for the next edition of the event - using your people skills, commercial confidence, and sense of urgency to drive onsite rebook sales.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Proactively walking the show floor to engage with exhibitors
• Discussing stand rebooking for our next event — highlighting pricing incentives and space availability
• Using floorplans and real-time availability tools to guide conversations
• Handling rebook paperwork and collecting signed agreements onsite
• Supporting the wider sales team with lead generation and exhibitor relationship management
• Acting as a friendly, professional face of the event at all times

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in event sales, exhibition space sales, or business development
• Confident, outgoing personality - comfortable approaching exhibitors cold
• Strong commercial acumen - understanding how to create urgency and close deals
• Organised, reliable, and able to handle fast-paced event environments
• Bonus points if you’ve worked exhibitions, trade shows, or similar rebook campaigns before
