Job Overview

Pride Health is hiring a Forensic Processing tech/ forensic analyst to support our client’s medical facility in Lenexa, KS. This is a CONTRACT opportunity of 4 months and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Summary:

A Forensic Processing Technician/ Forensic analyst is responsible for the collection, documentation, processing, and preservation of physical evidence from crime scenes, ensuring all procedures adhere to strict chain-of-custody and legal protocols. This role involves utilizing specialized laboratory techniques to analyze fingerprints, biological samples, trace evidence, and digital media. The technician collaborates closely with law enforcement personnel, forensic scientists, and legal teams to provide accurate and timely results. Responsibilities may also include maintaining laboratory equipment, entering evidence data into tracking systems, and testifying in court when required. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and knowledge of forensic methodologies are essential. The position plays a vital role in supporting criminal investigations and upholding the integrity of the justice system.

Key Responsibilities and skills:

• Has a preliminary but functional understanding of the QTN Lab Information System
• Sort specimens by source (hair, oral fluid, urine, etc) and work list
• Completes Maxilog Data Entry
• Understands and adheres to strict forensic practices
• Capable of processing urine specimens for regulated and non-regulated testing independently
• Adheres to company policies and procedures
• Proficient with scanning/imaging all custody and control forms
• Capable of discarding negative specimens
• Performs flexilog on routine urine specimens at 70 CCFs per hour
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications:

• Minimum education- High school diploma or GED
• Previous laboratory experience preferred
• Detail-oriented with good experience.
• Computer skills.
• Data entry and processing.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and stress management skills.

Additional Information:

• Location: Lenexa, KS and other locations
• Job Type: 4 months contract
• Shifts: 8 HOURS Day SHIFT
• Hourly Pay: $16-$18.20/ hr

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials .
