Position Overview
We are seeking an Experienced Specialty Coffee Barista who is passionate about coffee, skilled in latte art, and proficient in calibrating espresso shots to ensure consistently high-quality drinks. This role requires attention to detail, a focus on customer satisfaction, and the ability to provide insights into the health benefits of our offerings to enhance the guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare High-Quality Beverages : Craft specialty coffee and tea beverages, including espresso-based drinks, pour-over coffee, and loose-leaf teas, with precision and artistry.
• Latte Art Mastery : Create aesthetically pleasing latte art to enhance the presentation of beverages.
• Espresso Calibration : Calibrate espresso machines to maintain the highest quality and consistency throughout the day.
• Customer Engagement : Educate customers about our coffee, tea, and health-conscious offerings, sharing insights into their benefits.
• Inventory Management : Assist with stocking and monitoring coffee, tea, and related supplies.
• Cleanliness and Maintenance : Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including equipment maintenance.
• Team Collaboration : Work closely with team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive workplace environment.

Qualifications

• Experience : Minimum of 2 years as a barista in a specialty coffee shop.
• Skills :
  • Proficient in latte art with a creative flair.
  • Strong understanding of espresso extraction and calibration techniques.
  • Knowledge of coffee origins, brewing methods, and tea preparation.
  • Familiarity with the health benefits of coffee, tea, and related ingredients is a plus.
• Personal Traits :
  • Passion for coffee and customer service.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with customers.
  • Detail-oriented and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Certifications :
  • Food Handling License is a MUST
  • Coffee-related certifications (e.g., SCA certification) are a plus.
