Environmental Remediation Project Engineer
to join our team in

EnSafe specializes in custom solutions in Environmental Management and Planning, Civil Design Engineering, Environmental Restoration, Natural & Water Resources, Health & Safety, and Technology with 400+ staff in 20+ offices across the U.S. What We Are Looking For: An experienced Environmental Remediation Project Engineer ready to support and manage a design team using a wide range of remedial technologies to address various contaminants in soil, groundwater, stormwater, and air. The right candidate has experience with remediation under multi-state, CERCLA, and RCRA regulations. What You Will Be Doing: Leading and supporting remedial and process engineering projects and teams to fill data gaps, design, construct, operate, and optimize systems Evaluating data from aquifer tests, pilot studies, bench testing, sampling events, and modeling to develop remedial strategies Preparing, reviewing, and mentoring others in the development of design basis, technology selection, and design plans, specifications, and reports Communicating with regulatory personnel and permitting agencies to ensure compliance with project requirements and applicable regulations Providing project and client management from small dry cleaners/gas stations to complex industrial facilities to major federal facilities Preparing proposals, cost estimates, and long-term projections for remediation projects Providing technical assistance to teams working across multiple offices throughout the country, problem-solving, mentoring, leading by example, and participating in corporate technical initiatives What You Need: Bachelor's degree from an ABET-accredited college in Civil, Chemical, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering 7-15 years of experience required P.E. required Hands-on experience with remediation technologies for soil, groundwater, stormwater, and air for a wide range of contaminants A valid driver's license Ability to travel overnight About us : EnSafe began as a two-person firm in 1980, navigating complex regulatory compliance issues on behalf of our clients.
