Job Description BAE Systems is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our Rapid Prototype Development Team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the design, development, and demonstration of cutting-edge products and technologies. As a key member of the Rapid Prototype Team, you will gain in-depth product knowledge, enhance your technical expertise, and support a range of initiatives, including internal research and development projects, avionics product development, and production sustainment efforts. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and testing digital, analog, and mixed-signal prototype hardware and systems. Guided by a lead engineer, your tasks will include electrical circuit design, circuit card assembly (CCA) development, analysis, firmware/software creation, interface/cable design, component selection, laboratory testing and troubleshooting. We are looking for a motivated engineer who is eager to master advanced design and analysis tools, utilize state-of-the-art laboratory equipment, and thrive in a collaborative, small-team environment. Required Education, Experience, & Skills Associates Degree in Engineering Solid engineering fundamentals Familiarity with electrical engineering design & analysis tools Software programming experience Proficiency with basic laboratory equipment Good communication skills, both written and verbal Detail oriented and self-motivated Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering Hands-on experience of designing and testing electronic systems Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $70735 - $120250 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
