Current President and CEO Jahn Levin, founded Purity Products in 1993 in Great Neck, NY. What started as a three-person operation has blossomed into a thriving, nutritional and health products company, with well over one million customers. As Purity Products moved from Great Neck, to New Hyde Park, to Port Washington, over the following 30 years the company thrived, and its dedication to evidence-based nutritional supplements has grown. Now in our headquarters in Plainview, New York, we have made greater commitments to technology and dedicated even more resources to serving our customers even better.
Position Overview
Will be primarily responsible for overseeing and managing the digital department for Purity Products with a significant online presence. They will handle decision-making for the website, email marketing and e-commerce growth. They will also be responsible for research and development of new online marketing strategies.
Website Design : Will be responsible for determining the format and features of the website in order to maximize clarity and ease of navigation for customers. They will liaise with the Web designers to develop and alter the website as needed. They will perform heat map studies and user testing to determine the site is optimized for a positive consumer experience with UI/UX.
Website Merchandising: The e-commerce manager must have a basic understanding of CSS and HTML and be able to effectively and efficiently update website landing pages, website features, and apps.
Website Monitoring and Management : Will be responsible for monitoring the website multiple times a day and ensuring that all campaigns are effectively driving traffic to the site, that conversions are occurring, and clear any bugs that may develop.
Research and Development: W ill keep abreast of new developments in the e-marketing world. They will also research the company’s core demographics and how to best reach them, in order to maximize search engine traffic and the effect of the company’s targeted ad buys.
Project Development and Presentation: Will liaise directly with upper management and present their plans for any new advances or initiatives to improve the company’s online presence and e-sales.
Analytics and Reporting : Must be able to review Google Analytics and Shopify Analytics and develop reports and make data-based recommendations for improving customer acquisition and loyalty.
Must be an organized, analytical person with strong technical skills. They will be able to multitask effectively and be able to problem-solve when needed. They will be able to successfully manage a team of people and delegate tasks based on skills. They must be creative, pragmatic, and eager to learn.
Preferred Skills
Communication : Must be able to clearly describe job duties to those they supervise and lay out full plans to the management. Expert written and verbal communication is key to getting ideas across.
Technical Understanding : A strong grasp of modern technology and social media is essential. An expert understanding of spreadsheets, databases, financial analysis, website design, search engine optimization, and e-marketing strategy will be key to fulfilling the many functions of the job.
Flexibility : The market changes quickly, and new developments may require a quick overhaul of the company’s strategy.
Professionalism : Will be required to work with different teams- creative, warehouse, finance etc. As such, a professional approach to dress and speaking ability will be essential for success.

Spreadsheets : Tracking data using Excel and other spreadsheet softwares
Presentation Software : PowerPoint
Other tools: Klaviyo, familiarity with review programs such as Power Reviews or Yotpo, basic Photoshop highly preferred.

Salary : $100,000 per year
Schedule [Hybrid] : Onsite 4 Days a Week/Friday Remote (Friday ½ Day)
