Job Description

An established premium cleaners is looking for a energetic, personable Dry Cleaning Counter Clerk who will be responsible for ensuring that all customer's requests are taken care of in a timely manner. The candidate must be presentable, friendly personality, and provide customer delight on a daily basis. You will work closely with the dry cleaning crew team to ensure that all orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently. You will also be expected to maintain a clean and organized workspace, and to follow all safety protocols and procedures. This is an entry-level position that requires top-notch customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:

• Intake of customer's clothes including bagging, tagging, marking stains, and noting special requests
• Processing payment, both cash and credit
• Answering telephone calls
• General customer service
• Oversee the dry cleaning workflow of receiving the clothing, processing, and communicating to the dry cleaning team
• Other duties as needed

Requirements:

• Experience in Dry Cleaning and Laundry Services is a plus
• Must be presentable, friendly personality, and provide customer service on a daily basis
• Able to work a 50-hour work week.
• Possess a strong work ethic.
• Strong communication skills
• Organized and efficient while working in a fast-paced environment
• Detail oriented, strong attention to detail and meticulous.
• Ability to multitask
