Position Purpose:

Installs and upgrades all product lines of office furniture. Must demonstrate ability to work efficiently and take direction from senior installation personnel. Must possess the ability to use power tools and demonstrate a working knowledge of product handling, staging, and assembly of MillerKnoll and ancillary furniture lines. Must possess the ability to read or decipher furniture blueprints and drawings. Must demonstrate dedicated commitment to departmental mandates, safety standards and procedures, goals, and Pigott's core values.

Primary Position Accountabilities:

  • Execute product installations.
  • Obtain client sign off and complete relevant project documentation.
  • Perform warehouse duties as necessary.

Additional Position Accountabilities & Expectations:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Follows loading and unloading standards and processes.
  • Understand the scope of the entire project as explained by lead installation personnel.
  • Review installation plans with senior installation personnel as required.
  • With direction from lead or senior installation personnel, interfaces with clients and other contractors as required.
  • Provides own dependable transportation to job sites or office as required.
  • Takes direction as required from senior installation personnel; monitors own work to ensure quality performance and results consistent with company mandates.
  • Performs other duties, as assigned by senior installation personnel, as required.

Position Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • 2-3 years of systems furniture installation or related experience preferred.
  • Customer Service experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in reading, understanding, and communicating essential safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals is required.
