Your Role: Essential Job Functions

As a vital member of our team, you will:

  • Perform, assist, evaluate, and document medical care, including:
  • Basic first aid and vital signs monitoring.
  • Catheter and bowel care, including intake and output monitoring.
  • Conduct range of motion exercises as directed by therapists.
  • Assist with ambulation, transfers, and positioning using medical equipment.
  • Prepare meals tailored to dietary needs.
  • Support patients in maintaining personal hygiene.
  • Complete and coordinate all necessary documentation.
  • Observe and report significant changes in patient conditions.
  • Provide hands-on personal care and assist with simple procedures.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Current, unrestricted certification or proof of training as required by the state.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Proficiency in clinical assessments and documentation.
  • Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.

Skills & Abilities

  • Attention to detail.
  • Effective time management.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent organization and communication abilities.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to speak, write, read, and understand English.
  • Must be able to travel and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Prolonged walking, standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, and twisting.
  • Ability to sit and climb stairs.
  • Visual and hearing acuity required.
  • Must respond appropriately to emergency situations.

Work Environment

  • Function in various environments with potential exposure to allergens and other conditions.
  • Possible exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and infectious diseases.
