Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented ERP Business Analyst with strong experience in Epicor or similar ERP systems. This role bridges the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring that change requests are effectively translated into actionable development tasks. You will work closely with end users, developers, and QA teams to optimize business processes within the ERP environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with end users across departments to understand and evaluate change requests.
• Analyze business needs and determine whether requests can be addressed through process improvements within Epicor.
• Create detailed technical specifications and documentation for development teams.
• Facilitate meetings with developers to explain requirements and hand off documentation.
• Coordinate with UAT teams to ensure proper testing is conducted with business users.
• Provide or coordinate end-user training documentation as needed.
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment and clarity.
• Use Azure DevOps to track development progress and manage documentation.
• Propose and validate process changes within Epicor to enhance system efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with Epicor ERP or similar enterprise resource planning systems.
• Proficiency with Jira or other project tracking/ticketing tools.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Word and Excel for documentation and reporting.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical users.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with HighJump or other warehouse management systems.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps for development collaboration and tracking.
• Background in manufacturing, distribution, or similar industries.

Targeting pay between $45-55/hr based on experience. This will be a 6 month contract to hire. Hybrid in Richmond Tu-Th, M/F remote.
