Bank Teller

A locally owned and operated bank group in the growing Flathead Valley is hiring Bank Tellers. This Montana bank has personalized service where customers can get to know their banker. They are committed to creating an enjoyable and fulfilling work environment.

As a key member of their staff, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of essential banking functions, ensuring accurate transactions and exceptional service for our customers. Pay: Up to $20/hour, depending on experience
Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, Full-time
• Flexibility needed to work at multiple Kalispell locations

Essential Functions and Duties:

• Process deposits, withdrawals, cashed checks, and loan payments/ inquiries
• Assist customers with account closures, money orders, cashier checks, and wire transfers
• Handle stop payment requests, safe deposit box access, and rent payments
• Process bank by mail, night deposits, change orders, and credit card advances
• Manage cash transactions accurately, balance cash drawer, and resolve discrepancies
• Ensure timely processing of work and batch submissions with minimal errors
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain knowledge of bank products and compliance regulations
• Support lobby reception duties, review data input, and complete annual compliance and training requirements

Qualifications:

• Cash handling experience required
• Previous teller or banking experience preferred
• Must be bondable and always maintain confidentiality
• Knowledge of and ability to use personal computer and 10-key
• Flexible and willing to work in various areas of the retail operation , i.e., the teller line, reception and new accounts
